The OTT platform Netflix is hosting a Global Fan Event, Tudum, and the stars associated with the platform have arrived in Brazil to grace the event. The presence of the Chief Action Officer (CAO) of Netflix, Arnold Schwarzenegger added more vibrance to the event. 

To make the event more entertaining, the FUBAR actor made a special announcement for the fans of Stranger Things. He revealed that an old friend and a great actress would join the cast of the final season of the Horror fiction series, on the stage of Tudum. Netflix now shared the video titled, Stranger Things 5 Casting Announcement on its YouTube channel capturing the moments from the event.

Arnold Schwarzenegger makes an exciting announcement

Netflix’s CAO announced to the crowd of Tudum, “I am excited that I can announce that my old friend, a fantastic actress, a bada**, is joining the Netflix family in one of my favorite shows.” He revealed that the actress has sent him a video which he wanted the fans at the show to watch. 

As the 75-year-old action hero departed from the stage saying “Hasta la vista,” the stage was immersed in red and blue effects lifting the mood of the audience. Then played the video of Linda Hamilton, the protagonist of the Terminator franchise. “Hey Arnold, thank you so much for getting this video to Tudum. I am Linda Hamilton and I am so excited to share this news with you. I am joining the cast for Stranger Things 5,” revealed the Terminator co-star of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Revealing her excitement about joining the thriller series, Hamilton stated, “I don’t know how to be a fangirl and an actress at the same time. I am gonna work on that,” in the video. “Everyone else, I’ll see you in Hawkins,” she told the fans. Earlier the Commando star shared a picture with Thor after arriving in Brazil for the event.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is busy with his Chief Action Officer duties at Netflix of late. From promoting FUBAR to sharing snippets from his Netflix docuseries Arnold, the 75-year-old is in full form. After a banter with Chris Hemsworth in an elevator at the OTT platform’s headquarters, Arnie met Thor again in Brazil.

Both arrived in São Paulo, Brazil to celebrate the event with fans on 17th July. The Predator hero shared a picture with the Spiderhead actor on his Instagram post. “First we get our pump, then we go pump up the fantastic fans in Brazil, @chrishemsworth,” he captioned it.
