Everyone has a different way of coping with life struggles. For some, it is meditating or choosing a healthy diet, for others it is working out and maintaining a robust physique. For the 65-year-old granny, Lesley Maxwell it is the latter. She took to training in her late forties after a failed marriage and now the grandma is a fitness coach who often shares tips to become fit and healthy in life with her 137K followers.

The Australian trainer added another pro tip to her Instagram series of suggestions in her latest post. She unveiled the prime factor that can help the fitness community achieve their body goals.

The grandma has won over 30+ Figure Competition Titles and claims herself as World Champion #1 in her Instagram bio. In her latest post, she was seen flaunting her fit frame and captioned it, “Consistency is the key when it comes to your fitness goals. The rest just happens!

Her toned abs and arms in the post would make even the youngsters envious. She earlier revealed that her secret for her amazing body is weight training. And she believes that one can shape their body irrespective of age. “You only need to learn a few movements, such as – push – pull – squat – lunge. Perfect these movements while lifting weights as it’s Anti-aging and easier than you think,” she opined.

The granny who defies age has participated even in bikini competitions. She went on to win her first bikini competition and testifies that she is much fitter than in her late thirties.  But the journey toward becoming a fitness influencer wasn’t an easy ride for the granny.

From struggling with anxiety to becoming a fitness coach

Maxwell was divorced in her forties after an unhappy marriage. But the decision resulted in anxiety. She was even on pills to treat her anxiety but soon realized that it wouldn’t solve the core issue, per Mirror. So she took weight training and started to witness herself healing.

Her initial fitness days surrounded around training and shaping her physique and later she started competing. Now Maxwell is Celebs coach and is happier and fitter than ever.
