Here, he delved into the fact of how it has been many years since Dorian Yates brought the Olympia title home 6 times. Now, Dauda remains the only hope for England to embrace victory in the competition after so many years.

Despite being born in Nigeria, Samson Duada now resides in the United Kingdom. Surely, the pressure might be intense for him to get the coveted title to England. In the interview, the reigning Arnold Classic champion was asked about how he felt about this Olympia 2023 as England hasn’t gotten the prestigious title for more than 20 years.
In response to the question, he said, “Honestly it’s something that is beyond belief it’s crazy, because I remember when I started bodybuilding and all around the UK there was always a talk of Dorian and Dorian and who’s ever going to be able to do what Dorian did so to be in the position now, honestly it’s something that I’m in disbelief of and I just can’t it won’t sink.”
Samson Dauda also expressed the fact that he is now really hungry to ensure that he becomes the first Englishman after Dorian Yates, to take the title home. Dorian Yates made England proud in 1992 after he embraced victory at Olympia. It was the time when Yates was the only bodybuilder from England who competed at such a grand level. However, his journey had been full of ups and downs. More than the destination, Yates believed in living a memorable journey. In one of his recent Instagram posts, he said, “Enjoy the journey!”
The pics he uploaded on Instagram showed the bodybuilding legend in 1983, “Barely a year into serious bodybuilding training,”. However, “on the right, I was at the highest heights… the Olympia stage,” revealed the former Mr. Olympia.” Recalling his bodybuilding journey after 26 years of retirement, he wrote, “I sacrificed a lot in my quest to conquer the bodybuilding world…”
