Hence, he suggested how one should stay positive and try their best despite the process being intimidating. While one might think that Cutler’s advice would entirely center on fitness, he majorly focused on asking upcoming bodybuilders to cultivate a specific mindset.

In the latest video from his podcast, Jaywalking, Cutler imparted some crucial information regarding tackling the nerve-wracking moment of going up the stage for the first time. He stated the first word of encouragement he would say is, “Be prepared. Meaning, get in your best condition and learn the best poses.” Then Cutler implored these youngsters to focus on their mentality. “You have to have confidence walking out there,” he exclaimed.

Moreover, Cutler also suggested that one should make more contact with the audience and the judges. He said, “You can’t be looking down the whole time. You got to just be positive, forward and capture the audience.” Cutler reflected that one should be able to drag all their attention towards themselves and try their best to perform.

Cutler often gets asked for general suggestions regarding bodybuilding and fitness. The bodybuilder who had not tried KFC till very late in his life was also asked about dirty calories. Cutler helped get rid of misconceptions regarding such a way of calorie addition in one’s body.

When Cutler was asked whether one should avoid dirty calories, he drew attention to the necessity of calories for bulking. He said, “I’d have to get more calories in as I chased size to eventually overcome the all-time great Ronnie Coleman.” Weighing almost 300 lbs, Cutler needed to sustain his physique for which he required a great amount of calories.

However, instead of junk food to increase the calorie count, Cutler stated one should use organic and healthy alternatives. He said, “using healthy, organic-reared burgers and homemade fries,” Then he further added why one should avoid regular junk food. Cutler revealed, “You actually avoid the regular fast food joints because your digestive system will feel much better for it!
