Bodybuilding is in practice since the start of the last century when athletes molded their physiques into a sculpted frame through a rigorous training and diet routine. However, they would focus on cutting down and getting the striation during the peak season and give the needed rest to the body in the off-season. However, the fitness influencers on social media are always inclined to maintain a ripped physique, and Mike O’Hearn is not happy with it.

The Titan who ripped like a pro in his fifties quotes Frank Zane’s statement while stressing the importance of recovery to help the body heal, which the current bodybuilders fail to understand.

Social Media has been a source of revenue generation for fitness influencers as they advocate tips and tricks of bodybuilding to their followers on their social media. However, to maintain the fan base, the bodybuilders have to ensure a ripped physique around the clock, which O’Hearn terms as “not healthy.

Recalling his bodybuilding routine during his earlier years, Titan stressed that his off-season was for nine months, followed by rigorous training for three months. He suggests that the off-season is to “feed the body and make it heal.”

I don’t see that as much now,” he complained about the current bodybuilding trend. Further, he supported his argument with The Chemist’s theory of “mountain peak“. “As Frank Zane said and articulated,” O’Hearn revealed, “You can’t stay at the peak, you climb the mountain, you hit the peak you come back down to base camp, you regroup then you climb it again.” Earlier, the 4x Mr. Universe spoke with a medical expert to discuss the recent deaths in the bodybuilding community.

Mike O’Hearn concerned with the sad state of affairs in the bodybuilding community

The month has been a mourning phase for bodybuilding fans and athletes as three bodybuilders have died at a young age. While Gustavo Badel died from a stroke at 50, Jo Lindner lost his life at 30 to an aneurysm. As the fear geared up the spectators, Mike O’Hearn joined hands with John Tsikouris to add insights into the sad situation.

Stroke or whatever it may be, you know this could happen possibly if hemoglobin, hematocrit red blood cell count was very high and the blood was thick, and he didn’t donate or anything like that it could turn the sludge,” Tsikouris explained.
