Mike O’Hearn, born into an athletic family, was encouraged to engage in sports and fitness from a young age. He turned his passion for fitness and bodybuilding into a successful career, securing four Mr. Universe titles and winning the Fitness Model of the Year award seven times. His dedication to bodybuilding even led him to land roles in superhero movies.

Despite gaining recognition and success, the 54-year-old refuses to take a break and regularly visits the gym, excelling in heavy-weight exercises. However, after three decades of following his fitness regimen, he recently expressed regret for not including a simple exercise in his routine earlier in life.

In a recent video on his YouTube channel, Titan shared some of his back workouts and tips. At the beginning of the video, O’Hearn was seen acing a spinal extension exercise on the Roman chair. “Hopefully you guys can see exactly where I’m rotating at and what I’m trying to develop,” he said, referring to his exercise.

The 4x Mr.Universe explained the right way to perform the workout. He said one has to focus on rotating the lower back and not the upper back while doing a spinal extension. He further felt bad about not incorporating the exercise when he was younger. “I think I would have incorporated this in so much younger but I just thought it was always such a, in that young mentality, lesser exercise compared to the deadlifts.”

But now he realized that there are no inferior exercises, as every workout has a part to play. He mentions that the spinal extension will help in rotation, flex, and contraction. “Three great reasons to do it,” he opined. Mike O’Hearn is revered by the bodybuilding community for his ultra-ripped physique and gym routine. Though the actor is in his fifties, he still pursues his fitness regime like no other, like a genuine bodybuilder.

O’Hearn mastered the art of heavy lifting

Bodybuilding is all about lifting the mightiest weights to build well-defined muscles. The 54-year-old Titan has this inherent talent for lifting heavy weights that often stuns the fitness community. In one of his posts on social media, the American Gladiators’ fame was seen doing a 185 lbs skull crush.
