Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, Joseph Baena has looked to follow his steps and start significantly emphasizing his fitness. Now that Baena has finally become a full-fledged devout of bodybuilding, he is trying his best to get all the tips and tricks to make his bodybuilding journey a little smoother.
Coming from multiple professions, like his father, Baena still manages to maintain balance. Active on his Instagram, the actor, Joseph Baena turned to his other passion, bodybuilding, and sought some guidance regarding displaying his physique. The 26-year-old bodybuilder shared a mirror selfie of himself on his Instagram stories, looking a bit uneasy while taking the photo, yet his massive back still caught attention.
He asked through his caption how to properly shoot a photo of one’s back by themselves. He wrote, “How do you take a pic of your back?” The story also featured a YoungLa tag from Baena’s side, re-affirming his previous announcement of a collaboration with the apparel brand.
Although he hasn’t quite gotten equipped with the technicality of clicking photos of his back, Joseph Baena has started to build his own philosophy of bodybuilding that works for him.

Baena once shared on Instagram how he believes that people should perceive bodybuilding as an art form over quantifying it and then measuring one’s skills. He stated, “Muscle building is an art, not just a numbers game.” He also focused on how there exists the mind-muscle connection everyone talks about. Joe Baena implores the community to take this connection into account when they are approaching the sport.
According to Baena, while working on their chest muscles, people often forget about fixing their form and embracing the exercises without quantifying the reps. “They tend to implement the shoulders, cave the chest in, or compromise the form by pressing instead of flying. Learn to be okay with lowering the weight if needed. Again, quality over quantity,” Baena remarked.
