Every bodybuilder has their own special journey that mixes achievements and setbacks. Just because someone excels in one thing doesn’t necessarily mean everything else is going great in their life. What’s interesting about bodybuilding is that it calls for a lot of dedication and sweat put in consistently over a long time. Many times, athletes have to navigate through personal struggles while also showing off a super muscular body to everyone. Marc Lobliner shares a story much like this.

Earlier, Lobliner also known as “The Machine” took to Instagram to highlight a difficult chapter of his fitness career. Many bodybuilders of his stature may find it hard to reveal their flaws, but not Marc Lobliner. The Machine told the story of his strenuous physical and emotional journey, as it is, displaying his vulnerabilities and peculiarities.

The CEO of MTS Nutrition, Marc Lobliner, is a successful businessperson who entered the fitness world because of a challenging background. Additionally, his dad fought against Type II Diabetes. Sadly, the Machine’s father passed away from a stroke during Lobliner’s high school days, which deeply affected him. This tragic event motivated the entrepreneur to dedicate himself to a lifestyle of health and well-being. However, in his pursuit of perfection, the Machine ended up taking his approach to an extreme.

Recently Lobliner revealed his side of the story. The fitness icon wrote, on Instagram, ” 2009 – I competed as a middleweight at 174lbs. This was the year I became known for insane conditioning, even my jaws were striated!” The fitness icon could have won many bodybuilding laurels, but he prioritized his family and marriage, leaving the competition early in his career.

“But this calling card led to my eventual retirement from the stage in 2013 because being this lean caused me to be more of an a**hole than I normally am….,” further added Lobliner, detailing his struggles. Moreover, this issue was not the sole reason for Lobliner’s marriage issues, but it nevertheless had an impact.

The coach then quotes very insightful words from his friend, Kris Gethin, who said, “Knowledge without mileage is bullsh*t.” Thus, the influencer attributes his lack of maturity in his younger days to his retirement from the stage. In 2023, Marc learned the lessons of life. He is calm and composed and does not lash out due to the pain or the pressure. Recently, the 42-year-old expert revealed his body transformation on social media.

Lobliner is super-jacked in his 40s

The ex-bodybuilder took to Instagram and shared his physical transformation. The picture showed his extreme muscularity and striations. Moreover, years of hardcore training have marked the body with vivid vascularity. Lobliner captioned the post, “I’ve been doing this a long time. In 2009, I competed as a lightweight, under 154 lbs. I am about 220 lbs in the current picture.”

Thus, with regular hard work, the bodybuilder has upped his fitness game. Furthermore, the coach and father of three children underscored his unending passion for athleticism. “I love the sport, love the work, and feel that at 42 I have many years left in the tank to continue to improve, especially considering I took over 5 years off to box,” added the businessman.
