Mannny Pacquiao – a potential opponent for Terrence Crawford

“The Pacquiao fight, obviously we’d like to do it, Whether we can do it, how we can do it, that’s what we’re figuring out now. Obviously, if it can happen it’ll happen, and if it can’t happen, it won’t happen. But nothing is concrete on that. We hope we can do it. We’re trying, but this is not a usual situation.” Said Arum to BoxingScene.com

Crawford last fought against his mandatory challenger Egidijus Kavaliauskas. The welterweight champion dominated from round 1 before securing the victory in Round 9.

Pacquiao on the other hand fought last July where he won the WBA super welterweight championship against Keith Thurman.

Both fighters are coming off strong performances and this bout certainly to be a thriller if they do fight in November.

“We told Terence that he’s scheduled to fight in November If it can’t be Pacquiao for various reasons, then we’ll match him with somebody else. But we told Terence to prepare for mid-November, whether it’s the 14th or the 21st,” said Arum

The fight will most likely take place outside America owing to restrictions caused due to Corona Virus. Crawford also revealed he will not being accepting any sort of pay cut.
