The first beta weekend of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has ended. Now is the time when Treyarch will have to look over all the complaints and bugs that have flooded in from the users. The developers have opened various channels for players to give their feedback. They can approach both Activision and Treyarch through the official subreddit, Twitter, and in-game support.
While the last impressions on the beta about the game mechanics have already arrived, players are now reporting all the bugs present in the game. A recent Reddit post about a game-breaking bug has confused the developers. Many players have responded to the post complaining that they also faced a similar bug. They weren’t able to play the game at all due to the bug.
Possibly one of the worst bugs in any game I’ve ever come across (NEEDS ATTENTION)

Controllers getting shut off after loading screen in Black Ops Cold War Beta
User ‘FrostByte2048’ posted about a bug that he had encountered in the game.
“The problem comes when I load into a game, as soon as I got to the select a class, my controller turns off and REFUSES to turn back on, this persisted even after I got kicked for inactivity. The only way was to reset my PS by holding the power button.”
After reading a few comments, he added, “Somone has said the bug has happened them when they had a keyboard plugged in, so I’m feeling that the game detects and USB input as a keyboard and shuts off the controller as a result. I’ll update again once I try play without any USB input.”
The developers have responded to the post. However, it seems to be an automated response. The pinned comment reads, “Our team is investigating issues like these and much like?other threads, I have forwarded this one along too. Can you let me know how consistent this is?”
The developers posted a similar reply to another one of the complaints. The bug seems to be widespread, with many players facing a similar issue. A lot of them denied connecting a USB input, refuting the claim that this is an input glitch.

All this adds to a long list of bugs present in the beta. The next beta weekend starts on the 15th of October for those who have pre-ordered the game. On the other hand, the open beta starts on Saturday the 17th.
Hopefully, Treyarch will fix most of these bugs by that time. They will have many more challenges to face once the cross-play starts. Players can expect new bugs on PC and the Xbox during the cross-play beta.
