Former UFC flyweight fighters Paige VanZant and Rachael Ostovich are targeted to meet at Bare Knuckle Fight Championship. Ostovich recently signed with BKFC and fans immediately speculated that she’s potentially in line to take on Paige VanZant. Chiefly, both women ran into each other during their UFC run and VanZant came out on top via second-round armbar.
Per MMA Fighting, the fight is in the works with a June or July timeline in mind. However, further specifics regarding venue location aren’t currently clear. BKFC will definitely look to headline a show with the former UFC fighters who have a huge following. Paige VanZant vs Rachael Ostovich- An overview
’12 Gauge’ VanZant has already made her debut for BKFC and unfortunately fell short via unanimous decision in a 125-pound contest. She was bested by Britain Hart at BKFC: Knuckle Mania, but she put forth a good account of herself. Despite suffering a loss, Paige VanZant was clear that she was keen to continue in the sport and build on her skills.
In fact, the company President David Feldman came out and praised VanZant for making a successful transition from MMA to Bare-knuckle boxing. With VanZant rearing and ready to go again, it could be a long night at the office for Ostovich. Additionally, she’s coming in knowing that VanZant got the better of her when they last met, albeit in an MMA cage.

Rachael Ostovich hasn’t had a smooth combat sport run thus far, and she’ll be keen to turn things around in a big way. She’s 4-6 overall as a professional and lost three out of four fights under the UFC’s banner. She was on a three-fight skid when departing from the organization and was finished in all three outings.
Ostovich will take solace in the fact that the fight is a stand-up contest thus evening things out. However, VanZant might have a slight edge in that department as well, given her experience facing a higher level of competition.
