Paige VanZant is set to debut in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) in February 2021. The former UFC sensation signed with promotion after moving out from the UFC. When asked about VanZant inking a deal with BKFC, Austin responded, “Yeah. And you’re right I was a little bummed out and all that but then I started to see the vision and you know we have a great management team first-round Malki (Kawa) and Abe.
“It’s interesting, for sure, and I’m excited for February,” he added.
Austin reflected little on VanZant’s probable bout with Britain Hart. He believed there are a couple of big names as well in line for ’12 Gauge’. Austin seemed elevated for his better half’s highly awaited BKFC debut.
He perceived that VanZant is keenly focused on BKFC right now, but in the future, she might turn her strides towards MMA.
’12 Gauge’ will have to polish up on boxing skills to stun her opponents inside the circle.
Her husband, Austin Vanderford, is also an MMA fighter, competing in the Bellator MMA promotion. He was excited about VanZant fighting in the Bellator to continue her MMA run, but she opted to sign up with one of the most terrifying fight promotions.
Who should Paige VanZant face on her BKFC debut?
Paige VanZant is the most talked about fighter in the BKFC. Even before her debut fight in BKFC, she accrued a lot of attention with this abrupt deal. Previously, she would have fought in November, but she tested positive for COVID-19 alongside her husband. But now, February 6, 2021, seems her first stepping inside the BKFC ring.
Fans are excited to see the former UFC combatant go up against Britain Hart, a stalwart of the BKFC Featherweight division. It will be a charismatic matchup to watch. VanZant and Hart have entered a staredown in November this year. Britain Hart won her fight against Randine Eckholm and called out the UFC star.

The duo seems to agree and a debut fight couldn’t get better for ’12 Gauge’.
VanZant will enter the ring on February 6 after a loss to Amanda Ribas at UFC 251. Unlike her unimpressive run at the UFC, ’12 Gauge’ will look to have a sustaining and enthralling run at BKFC.
