Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian never fails to support her. He is often spotted in the stands along with his daughter Olympia, supporting and cheering for Serena during her matches.
Being an entrepreneur, Ohanian keeps searching for avenues to invest his money in. Having been an early investor in the cryptocurrency ‘Coinbase,’ Ohanian recently revealed making an investment in NFT’s.
An acronym for ‘non-fungible token,’ NFT is a digital item that is completely unique and can be exchanged like money. Hence, anything from sports trading cards, paintings to videos can be sold as a digital token.

Having made a personal investment in NFTs, Ohanian revealed that he tried gifting the digital collectibles cards to Serena, but she wanted some jewelry instead.
However, in a light-hearted manner, Ohanian contended that since Serena has observed the NFT market’s value go up in the last year, the tennis star has been happy with the gifts received.
