Tyson Fury is set to return to the WWE for Wrestlemania 36 in April. ’’The Gypsy King’’ has had his fair share of work in the ring defeating Braun Strowman in Crown Jewel.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been talks of Fury appearing for Wrestlemania however talks were stalled due to potential injuries he might have sustained after the rematch.
Tyson Fury’s popularity has grown after his dominant performance over Wilder. The PPV sales were amazing plus the build-up to the fight made it all the more interesting. Now that Tyson Fury has established his name as a top draw he will surely be charging big bucks.
An insider reporting to wrestlingINC.com said:
“Fury is now in a much higher income bracket than he was last year when he debuted for WWE. The Observer noted that Fury would not be worth millions for one show, given what he would mean to WWE Network subscribers, but he’s also not working for less than millions of dollars now. Fury still could be a key component if WWE is trying to sell WrestleMania to an outside streaming service as his name means a lot in the sports and fighting worlds right now.”

WWE’s fame has been on a downward spiral with WrestleMania being the only notable event of the year. Tyson Fury would surely boost ratings and viewership given the brand image he has created.
Post-Retirement WWE ”Super Star”?
‘’The Gypsy King’’ is great on the mic, braggadocios and charismatic making him a perfect WWE Superstar should Fury ever decide to change. However, this is complicated since Fury has a trilogy coming up in the summer and any injury will derail his entire year. Despite it being sports-entertainment it is still dangerous given the over the top nature of the sport.

With the plethora of injuries around, Fury is better off without it.
