The Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 3 is almost upon us. Infinity Ward has just about confirmed most rumors flying around. The new season will begin on April 8. We will get new content not just for Modern Warfare, but also for Warzone.
Fan-favorite from Call of Duty Modern Warfare returns
One of the fans’ favorite characters was Alex from the main Modern Warfare campaign. A hero who sacrificed himself for the greater good. But he is back and even more of a hero now, having sacrificed himself in the main campaign(thank God it didn’t claim his life.)

To the delight of the fans, he is about to return, albeit with a few changes. For one, he has a prosthetic leg now, which we can assume was the price he had to pay in order to survive.
He is joined by two other operators, with Ghost also present behind them.
The background(low right) also hints towards the Backlot map from Call of Duty 4. Fine by me.

Season 2 brought with it a ton of new content to go along with ‘Rust’ and few other maps, but best of all which was perhaps Warzone, the battle royale mode. Unsurprisingly, it became an instant hit with more than 30 million downloads in the first 10 days. But the best bit about it was, you did not need Modern Warfare to play Warzone.
Season 3 will also bring changes and new content for Warzone.
For those who have not given it a go, you’re in for a delight!
