Coco Gauff has lost her second round match against Anastasija Sevastova, 6-4, 5-7, 2-6. The American looked weak after her first set win, even though she produced 10 aces. The World No23 was on course for her quarterfinal place, before Sevastova changed her gears.
Sevastova lead Gauff in every aspect, both service and return. She had a total of 81% points won off the first serve, whereas Gauff could only do 70%. The Latvian converted more break points than the American on returns.

Anastasija Sevastova upsetting Coco Gauff
The Latvian looked strong on her returns, as she won more 1st return and 2nd return points against the American. She saved 60% break points in all three sets, and won five games in a row in the third set. She outperformed the 17-year old in an hiur and 58 minutes.

The Latvian will now face Elena Rybakina in the quarterfinal stage of the Eastbourne International event.
