“I want to dream big” – Bianca Andreescu
“I want to surpass Serena and her wins. Maybe even Chris Evert, who knows? Margaret Court,” she told CNN Sport.
She has had a simple philosophy. Andreescu works around her goal. That gives her the motivation to do more and achieve more. She has sacrificed a lot and wants to break records and be close to the legendary players.
“I like to dream big; it gives me more motivation to step on the court and continue doing what I’m doing.” said the Canadian.
“Everything I do, I always give 150% and I always want to be the best at it,” she said. “For my tennis career I put in so much effort and sacrificed a lot, so I want to be the best.” She added.
Bianca injured herself during the WTA finals last year. Since then the Canadian has been rehabbing and working to come to fitness. Due to this, she missed this year’s Australian Open. Recently Andreescu confirmed her participation for the US Open and she will try to defend her title.
Many players are still skeptical about the US Open. However, Andreescu is confident that the tournament will be safe and believes the USTA will make good arrangements to ensure safety.
