Brooklyn Nets, who are on a 10-game losing streak, traded James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers on the trade deadline day. The trade deal involved Ben Simmons, who hasn’t featured for a single game this season, going to Brooklyn. While it’s still hard for many players to digest the fact that the trade deal happened, Blake Griffin said that the Nets got a better deal.

Harden joined the Nets around a year ago in a bid to win the first championship of his career. He formed an incredible trio alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. However, the trio barely played together due to injury problems and Kyrie’s non-compliance with NY’s health & safety rules.

But now Harden is off to Philly and will partner MVP contender Joel Embiid. On the other hand, Ben Simmons, who hasn’t played a single minute this season, will now form the new trio alongside Durant and Kyrie.
