There has been quite an uproar as people were missing Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s presence in the public eye. The duo, who obviously couldn’t forget their first loves in each other, have been heavily photographed and spotted by paparazzi ever since they got together. While we are on the topic of the first loves, enjoying Ben Affleck’s absence alongside J-Lo, F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton shot his shot at the Met Gala where she went stag.
J-Lo and Ben first dated from 2002 to January 2004, and got engaged along the way before calling the whole thing off. However, they fell prey to fate and reunited in 2021 and subsequently got married. To give things context, Ben has interestingly admitted to not wanting their relationship on social media (though the stance has eased a lot). Perhaps this is the reason for the duo’s recent 47-day dry spell from the public eye and also what benefited Lewis’ quest to confess his love.
Talking about his Met Gala excursion (where Lopez was the chair) during the media interaction at Imola, Lewis said he met J-Lo and “told her how much I loved her” to which his teammate George Russell replied, “She’s married!” Lewis then went on to explain what exactly happened, “I just told her the whole story of like I fell in love with her as a youngster. You know, she’s beautiful!” But George was not ready to stop poking fun at the 7x champion, stating, “I’m sure her husband really appreciated that.” The witty Hamilton stated the reason why he took his chance, “Batman wasn’t there, so I took my shot.”

Formula 1 returns to Imola after almost two years. With many teams bringing their upgrades to F1’s dominant champions (Red Bull), not being as comfortable. And the unexpected free practice sessions have added to the uncertainties. One recurring theme that appeared on the track was Lewis Hamilton’s follies being called out by drivers.
Already frustrated by the surprising lack of pace at Imola on Friday, Verstappen was visibly angry when Hamilton impeded him at the Villeneuve chicane. When asked about the incident, Max said, “It’s not the first time. You try to, of course, always stay calm about it, but it happened again.”

Verstappen wasn’t the only driver Hamilton irked during second practice, as Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso also criticized the Brit over team radio. “Hamilton thinks that he’s alone on the track. It’s the second lap he does it. Turn 12, and now Turn 7.”
Later, Hamilton owned up to his mistakes and apologized for these on-track mistakes. What is your take on these incidents involving Hamilton?
