The referee gave every opportunity to Bader to defend himself. However, it was too late for the former light heavyweight champion. He was already out of it after the first knockdown. Many critics even felt that the referee should have stopped the fight early as Bader took a ton of unnecessary punishment.
With this victory, Nemkov is not only on a seven-fight win streak, but he is also the face of Bellator’s light heavyweight division.

Wow.
Vadim Nemkov TKOs Ryan Bader in the second. He is the new Bellator LHW champ.
Bader was never in it. Nemkov completely outclassed him. Dropped him with a headkick. Outstanding performance by the Russian.
