Two teams from Sydney , came out on Saturday night to produce a thriller on Saturday in the Big Bash League (BBL) 2019.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Sydney Thunder scored 149 runs in their 20 overs.
After am opening partnership of 48 runs between Alex Hales and Usman Khwaja, captain Callum Ferguson scored a half century.

Chasing 150 runs, Sydney Thunder lost their opener Hayden Kerr early. A partnership in the middle order between Captain Moises Henriques and Daniel Hughes took the Thunder closer to the target.
When things were looking grim for the Thunder, Tom Curran came in and smashed a 17-ball 35 to almost take his team home.
With six needed of two balls, Curran scored a boundary.l, but was run out going for a second run.
