Vidal is seen as the ideal replacement for Bastian Schweinsteiger, who has just completed his transfer to Manchester United.

Bayern are edging towards an agreement with the Serie A outfit. He turned down a Bayern offer in 2013 but is now heading to the German Champions for his second run in Bundesliga.

The promising thing about Vidal is that he has played in Germany earlier in his career with Bayer Leverkusen in 2007. Vidal had a great role to play in Chile’s Copa America glory this summer; he’s the type of player that Pep Guardiola would be eager to work with. He has a tireless attitude, covers almost every blade of grass while he is on the pitch, is a great tackler, possesses excellent passing vision and has a knack of popping up in the box along with tremendous shooting power and accuracy.

In 171 games for Juventus, he has scored 48 times while assisting 26 times. Winning 4 Serie A titles with them, he has been one of the most influential players for the Turin side.

FACT: Michael Reschke, who played a key role in signing Vidal during his time with Leverkusen, is now the sporting director with German champions Bayern Munich.
