Bayern Munich are on ‘course to sign’ Shaktar Donetsk star Douglas Costa for 35M.
According to the reliabe German Sport1, Bayern Munich have reached a ‘verbal agreement’ with the 24 year old Douglas Costa, and the deal could be finalized anytime soon.
The Brazilian star, who is currently representing Brazil in Copa America, has been constantly linked to Premier League giants, Chelsea and Manchester United among many others, but it seems Bayern have got their man.
Costa is a multi-functional player and can play No. 10 as well as on both the flanks. This is exactly what Pep Guardiola has been looking for, and is taught to be a long-term successor of Arjen Robben and Frank Ribbery. Robben and Ribbery are both past 30 and are also injury prone.
Costa signed for the Ukrainian Shaktar Donetsk from Gremio and has scored 37 goals in 196 matches.
