Signed by Bayern during the summer for €35million, Renato Sanches plays primarily as a central midfielder, but can operate in slightly deeper or more advanced roles, as well as on the right. He has a playing style similar to Paul Pogba. Renato’s talent, dedication and physical development have got him to this point but he must keep that gap between himself and his peers intact.

He is the young, rising star who already looks destined for greatness. In no time at all, he’s become general of the team; simply could not be ignored any longer.

Kingsley Coman is only 20, but he has already played for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Juventus and now Bayern Munich. The talented winger started well for Juventus, but he found himself not playing first team football. Following protracted negotiations last summer, Coman completed a two year loan deal with Bayern Munich, with a €21 million purchase option, an option Bayern will surely take.

Coman has gone on to become a revelation and is regarded as the future replacement to Franck Ribery. He is one of the best one-on-one players in Europe, and will only get better from here on. At Bayern, his end product will improve, and he will become an even more important player for the German club.

Gianluca Gaudino made his Bundesliga debut against Wolfsburg and Champions League debut in 2014. At 17 years, nine months and 11 days, he became the fourth-youngest player to appear for the Munich giants in the German top flight. The debutant has earned high praise for his performance. He played well above his experience level for most of the season and managed to step right in and contribute immediately at the beginning of the season when the club was facing an injury crisis in the midfield.

Currently, Gaudino has been loaned out to FC St. Gallen on 9 January 2016 until the end of the 2016–17 season. His performance as a professional is convincing evidence that if he stays healthy and continues to progress, he has every chance of following in the footsteps of Alaba and Kroos.

The sheer class of the personnel and the depth of numbers possessed in central midfield of Bayern Munich, including the likes of Xabi Alonso, Thiago Alcantara, Javi Martinez, Arturo Vidal and talents like Joshua Kimmich and Renato Sanches make it both a comfort and a headache for Carlo Ancelotti when picking his team.

However, fans hoping for a glimpse of youth prodigy Niklas Dorsch who contested in the UEFA Youth League last season, but has been confined to Bayern II duties this season. Touted as one of the best at the academy currently, Dorsch could well have a role to play for the first-team even before he hits the age of twenty-one.

He is widely regarded as one of Bayern Munich’s hottest talents and Pep Guardiola has also praised the hotshot. The Spanish coach was quoted stating that “Fabian Benko is a very young player. He is only 17 years old, but we think that he is very good. We have to go step by step. It is an honor for him to be here. He is practicing with our big players, so the training alone is a big step forward for him, but his place is still in the second and third team.”
