The LA Clippers have a chance to become NBA champions for the first time in franchise history. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined forces this season to make this dream come true for the team’s fans.
Moreover, the Clippers have one of the best rotations in the entire NBA. Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley, and Montrezl Harrell provide solid support from the bench if the starting lineup struggles.
Clippers proved their strength by finishing second in the West just behind their rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers. They are facing a tough opponent in the Dallas Mavericks as a first-round matchup in the playoffs and need to be at the top of their game to eliminate them.

LA Clippers not at 100%?
As of now, they have won and lost one game each in the playoffs. But things are not looking good for them. Paul George and Montrezl Harrell struggled in game 2. While PG has shown that he can shrug off such poor performances, it’s Montrezl Harrell that coach Doc Rivers is concerned about.
In a press conference, Doc Rivers expressed his concerns regarding the Clippers forward.
“His rhythm’s not great. His conditioning is not great. It’s just a tough place to try to integrate a guy. … We need him, but it’s tough to throw him in.
“It’s not that Trezz has been off a month, he hasn’t played basketball in five months,” he added.

Things haven’t been pretty for Harrell off the court either. He missed all Bubble games due to the passing of his grandmother. The series is tied, so there’s still plenty of time for the Sixth Man of the Year to regain his form.

Montrezl has proved he is a valuable player for the Clippers franchise. And the team could certainly use his contributions for a deep playoff run.
Along with Montrezl, Paul George needs to find consistency in his games as well. Otherwise, the burden to carry the offense of the team falls on Kawhi Leonard and Lou Williams’ shoulders. Doc is an excellent coach and he will do everything in his power to get the team running like a well-oiled machine. But the players have to do their part.
