Jokic’s brothers have taken yet another step to add fuel to the fire of this fight. First, they openly threatened Marcus Morris for mentioning that Nikola waited for Markieff to turn his back before responding. And now they have booked their tickets for the next game between the two sides where this beef might possibly escalate.

Consequent to the tussle between players from the two sides, the situation escalated even more on social media. After Jimmy Butler yelled at Jokic with seemingly violent intentions and Marcus Morris tweeted about the fight, Jokic’s brother took to social media to declare that they would be there to defend their little brother in case they wish to respond.
And now, Heatnation’s Robert Marvi has confirmed that Jokic’s brother will attend the next game between the two sides. While Jokic’s response might be correct at that moment, he should not allow any instigation or aggression from his side.

Especially since there’s only a certain point till which he can claim self-defense. Since they have involved competent authorities in the matter, any aggression beyond this point might not come under self-defense.
Nikola Jokic’s brothers are always standing by his side
Even in the playoffs against the Phoenix Suns last season, when Jokic had an argument with Booker, his brothers were ready for all the smoke. They were almost on the court to stand by their brother’s side.

So Jokic is not scared of anybody if his brothers are by his side. Hilariously, his own brother is the only one who scares him. However, is this behavior encouraged by the NBA? Not on the offense for sure.
Therefore, as much as the NBA community understands the rationale behind defending your family, it might not appreciate it if they become the aggressors in this situation.
