Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are set to face the Los Angeles Clippers in their first home game tonight. After a close victory against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Warriors will look to maintain their consistency. Whereas the Clippers are playing their first game of the season with a thin roster.
For this game, the Clippers will hope to find a miracle from their bench to lead them to a victory. A surprising performance from the likes of Terrence Mann or Paul George will be the need of the hour for the Clippers. However, their injury list is sufficiently long to have any fan convinced that this game is the Warriors’ to lose.

Golden State Warriors: predicted starting lineup
Golden State Warriors will probably play with the same starting lineup. Jordan Poole and Stephen Curry will look to maintain their consistency with a commendable performance from them both in the season opener. They will most likely start as the guards tonight. At the Forward positions, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green will start most, probably. And Kevon Looney will start at center.
Los Angeles Clippers: predicted starting lineup
The Clippers will miss Kawhi Leonard in tonight’s season opener. Leonard was injured in the second round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs. Therefore, Marcus Morris Sr. will most likely start in his position in tonight’s game. Along with Paul George at Small Forward. The likely starting guards are Reggie Jackson and Eric Bledsoe. Ivica Zubac will be starting at center.

However, the most concerning thing for the Clippers will be their injury list. Rookie Keon Johnson, veteran center Serge Ibaka and French star Nicolas Batum will be missing from the bench for tonight. So they will look for a miracle like Terrence Mann’s 39 point performance in the playoffs last season.

The Golden State Warriors are favourites to win this game. They should win this game by 20-25 points easily. However, will Stephen Curry accept the role of the primary playmaker? Or will he go back to his scoring dominance ways from last season? After his triple double in the last game, he said he “played like trash” . So it seems like he will look to go back to his dominant ways from beyond the arc.
