The Lakers are arguably the premier team in the city of Los Angeles. With a whooping 17 NBA title, the Purple and Gold are the most successful franchise in NBA. But over the past few years, their noisy neighbours the LA Clippers have truly gained some momentum.
Putting up a great side on-paper, the Clippers in the past decade have been a force in the Western Conference. Be it the likes of Chris Paul or now Kawhi Leonard, star power hasn’t been sparse for the Clips. Given the team’s immense success over the years, the Clippers fan base has soared rapidly as well.

LAC fans go crazy as ‘Go Clippers’ trends in twitter
The LA Clippers aren’t the most well-known team for their fans. While the Lakers have some of the loudest and wildest crowds out there, it is perceived that their croos town rivals’ fanbase is rather inactive.
But recently the Clippers fans certainly made a massive statement about their franchise. While much isn’t happening in the NBA world, LAC fans recently showed that they don’t need a reason to celebrate their favorite team.

What started off as a random ‘Go Clippers’ hashtag by a supporter, fans started to chime in with the hashtag. Eventually Clipper nation went absolutely berserk as #Go Clippers was a trending topic worldwide. Peaking all the way at the 3rd spot it was surely fascinating to see a NBA team dominating twitter above the likes of George Bush and even AEW Rampage which has been all the rage lately.
This also spoke volumes about how dynamic the Clippers’ fan club is. Not only are they ready to cheer their team in any circumstance, they can certainly rock the Staples Center as well. Just as their fan base, LAC this season have an underrated team.

Although their superstar Kawhi Leonard will miss majority of the upcoming season, the team still has players like Paul George. PG13 absolutely thrived when he was the number option in the playoffs. Apart from George, the team will rely on the likes of Reggie Jackson and Terrence Mann who stepped up in the offensive end in the playoffs.
The Clippers might not be a powerhouse in the West this season, but if Leonard makes his return before the playoffs, LAC can be a big problem in the West.
