In an insane sequence of events during the game against the Celtics, Russell Westbrook of the Lakers pushed Dennis Schröder for no reason. Right before the end of the first half, Jayson Tatum managed a steal off of Westbrook’s pass at half court. After getting dunked on in the fast break, Russell Westbrook inadvertently pushed off Dennis Schröder, who was running with Tatum on the break.

From Westbrook’s reaction, it seemed like a mistake more than an intentional push. And the referees agreed by giving Dennis a blocking foul. However, are these mistakes happening more than usual now? First, let’s look at the sequence of events that happened at today’s game.

His recklessness has often cost them inefficient results in crucial plays. Nevertheless, these events only resulted in a blocking foul for Schroeder, since the referees could see that the push was not intentional. But somehow, it does seem careless.
