Phoenix Suns registered their second win of the season after beating the Cavaliers at home. The Suns won convincingly as they surpassed the Cavs 101-92, thanks to a huge run. They had a 50-12 run in the game that turned a 14 point deficit to a 24 point lead. However, despite a big win, JaVale McGee was the talking point among the NBA circles for a different reason.
JaVale McGee started the game from the bench and played for 18 mins. He scored 8 points and registered rebounds in the process.

While birthday boy Devin Booker was the star of the game, McGee became the talking point for pulling up in an exciting costume into walking into the arena ahead of the game. JaVale McGee pulled up in a ‘Squid Game’ costume ahead of the Suns’ game against the Cavaliers.

With the 2021-22 NBA season underway, several NBA players have shown what it means to abide by the dress code walking into the arena. However, JaVale McGee took it to a different level as he turned up in a Squid Game costume ahead of the Suns game against the Cavaliers.

Phoenix Suns center JaVale McGee has had a knack for making highlights over his 13-year-old NBA career. This time around, he is trending all over social media as he dressed up in a Squid Game inspired costume. However, this is not the first time the 3-time NBA champion did this on Halloween.
Earlier in 2018, the Lakers faced Dallas Mavericks on Halloween. McGee stole everyone’s attention as he turned up in a ‘Grinch‘ inspired costume ahead of the game.
“They had to custom-make it,” McGee said through his Grinch head.
“Feel me, this is custom right here. This is straight Grinch material.”

Not just this, in fact, he joined the post-game press conference in the lime-green hair costume. McGee has been an important player for the teams he has played over the years. While this may have gone unnoticed, his costumes on Halloween certainly don’t.
