Over the past few weeks, Kuminga’s game and presence on the court have gained appreciation. Moreover, his dunks have generated a buzz online that has fans convinced he is what the Warriors needed all along.

As per fans, Kuminga’s start was made extra special as the Warriors were playing the Lakers. Though the Lakers continue to struggle through the season, LeBron James has been doing his best to lead the team. Averaging over 29 points per game, the 37-year-old is as perfect on the court as ever.

Kuminga, 19, made sure to match whatever James put up as the game carried on.

Upon watching the first few minutes of the game, users were quick to point out Kuminga’s NBA Rising Star snub. Supposed to be a mini-tournament among rookies, sophomores, and G-League Ignite players, many are stunned about Kuminga’s absence.

Many even marveled over the stats for the game. Kuminga, a rookie, posted seven points while going 3 of 3 from the field. James, on his end, scored eight points while going 3 of 7 from the field. Fans were convinced that people were simply scared of Kuminga’s presence and are not ready to face him.

Kuminga’s putback over James was the highlight. Fans were convinced that Kuminga flew in out of nowhere, and made sure to announce his presence.
