Golden State Warriors lost their 7th game of the season against the Nuggets at the Chase Center. Stephen Curry ended the game with a game-high 23 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Warriors to register a win. However, they’re still in a good position this season with a winning percentage of .794.
Stephen Curry has been in top form this season and has averaged 27.7 points so far. He has had a good campaign and even broke Ray Allen’s all-time 3-point record. However, he also became the first NBA player to break the 3000 three-pointers barrier.
Curry is currently on 3004 three-pointers in the NBA. A former teammate of Curry at the Warriors, Kevin Durant, recently praised Curry for breaking the three-point record.

Kevin Durant lavishes praise at Stephen Curry for breaking the record
Kevin Durant recently appeared for an interview on the Boardroom’s ‘The Etcs’. During the interview, he was asked about stopping by and congratulating Curry for breaking the record. To this, Durant praised Curry for breaking the record and even talked about his contribution to Curry’s achievement.
“Anytime you could break an NBA all-time record, regardless of what it is. Especially something significant as a three-point shot. I understood his emotion and then let’s say he got seven-eight more years of fun. So he’s gonna shatter it and it’ll never be broken again,” Durant said.
“I happen to run into them, and it was cool to see everybody from the Warriors and staff. Kind of being on that celebration a little bit because I got a couple of assists in there too. It’s impressive for somebody to do it in that amount of games and to see the journey. He’s still on at this point, man, you got to respect it.”
