Miami Heat has won three NBA titles in their history. The last two championships they won in the previous decade when they raised one of the greatest NBA teams in history. The elite trio of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh led the Miami-based franchise to two straight championships in 2012 and 2013.
King James joined the Heat in 2010 after becoming an unrestricted free agent. He received a lot of backlash from Cleveland Cavaliers fans after his ‘The Decision’.

James had an instant impact on the Heat side as they reached the NBA Finals in his first season. However, they lost to the Mavericks that season. But LeBron alongside Bosh and Wade powered the Heat to a 2nd straight NBA Finals and this time they won it. The Heat won another championship next season. In fact, they reached the NBA Final for four straight seasons. The Heat fans have always loved James since then and the respect is mutual.

James recently expressed his love for the city of Miami through his Instagram post. While Heat fans loved the heartfelt tribute, the Cavs fans felt the opposite.
Cleveland fans enraged by LeBron James heartfelt tribute to Miami
James recently took to Instagram to express his love for the city of Miami. His caption read: “3️⃣0️⃣5️⃣ To My City! ♾❤️👑”. 305 is the area code for the city of Miami. Miami is often called ‘the 305’ due to the area code. That is why James’ post mentioned the number ‘305’.

While Miami Heat fans loved this tribute from James, the Cavaliers’ fans didn’t like the post. A Heat fan commented “Back in 305 with 6 on his back like he never left”, while another called him “LeKingOfThe305”.

However, a Cleveland Cavaliers fan called him out and commented: “That ain’t yo city relax”. Another Cavs fan was confused and asked him, “Which city are you actually loyal to? Miami? LA? Cleveland? Im sorry I’m just confused?”.

The Cavs fans are enraged at the thought that James paid tributes to Miami. However, James did come back to Cleveland in 2014 after opting out of his contract with the Heat. He won his third and the city’s first professional sports championship in 52 years.
