Stephen Curry recently became the all-time leader of three-pointers in the NBA by breaking Ray Allen’s record. He is now getting the MVP shouts this season for his performances over the season. Apart from his basketball career, Curry has also been in the limelight for his weird conspiracy theories.
The Warriors star once gave competition to the flat-earthers with his own conspiracy theory, which went viral at that time. Kyrie Irving is another star who stirred controversy with his flat earth comments in 2017.

Stephen Curry once revealed that he didn’t think anyone reached the moon
In 2018, Curry appeared for an interview on Annie Finberg’s Winging It podcast. The podcast also featured Andre Iguodala, Vince Carter, and Kent Bazemore as the hosts. However, during the podcast, Curry doubted USA’s moon landing.
“We ever been to the moon?” Curry asked everyone during the podcast. A big ‘nope’ came from the group.
“They’re gonna come get us,” Curry said. “I don’t think so, either.”
Curry later apologized for his comments and said that he was joking about the moon landing. However, it was too late, and he was already in the headlines for the comments. In fact, it went viral to such an extent that even NASA invited Curry for a tour to one of their lunar labs.

However, all that is in the past and Curry is currently on the run for his 3rd MVP award and fourth NBA championship.
