Stephen Curry calls Michael Jordan the GOAT
Stephen Curry recently appeared for an interview with Sports Illustrated. He talked about his sneakers, the interview with Jordan, and NBA’s history. During the interview, the Warriors star was asked how he felt while interviewing Jordan. While answering this, Curry casually called Jordan the GOAT.
“He still has that bigger-than-life personality and presence and I don’t think they put it in the clip, but I think it is crazy that I am talking to the GOAT about golf on a golf course, in the middle of Wisconsin, talking about the Ryder Cup,” Curry said.

“Anytime you have something in common with him outside of basketball like our love for golf and just the competitive nature of it and those types of things, it was cool to hear his perspective. I wouldn’t say star-struck, but he still gives you that vibe like this is MJ.”
Curry and Jordan sat down during the 2021 Ryder Cup and brought a lot of attention to the golf event. It’s clear that Curry is a huge MJ fan and this meeting would have been huge for him. The interview was a part of NBC’s coverage for the 2021 Ryder Cup. Both Jordan and Curry are also big fans of golf.
