Brooklyn Nets registered their 18th win of the season against the Atlanta Hawks that propelled them to the top of the conference table. It was a closely fought battle between the two in the first three quarters. However, Kevin Durant led the scoring charts as the Nets finished the last quarter 24-14.
The Nets won 113-105 at the State Farm Arena.
Durant was one of the biggest talking points of the game as he was engaged in a heated confrontation with Hawks’ Trae Young. However, they both hugged each other after the game. Durant later acknowledged that he knows Trae Young for a long time and has a lot of respect for him.

However, there was another heated moment in the game when Durant exchanged words with a fan. Kevin Durant gave a savage reply to the fan who tried to trash talk the 33-year-old.

Nets star Kevin Durant was at his peak as he dominated the game both offensively and defensively. He was proficient on the court and guarded almost every Hawks player during the game. Amidst the game, a fan tried to trash talk with Durant and thought of getting away with it. However, Durant was having none of it and roasted the fan with an instant reply.
The fan asked Durant to ‘stop crying’ and Durant replied: “Shut yo a** up, motherf*****”.

NBA players have experienced various forms of trash talk in almost every single game. However, many have preferred to ignore and focus on the game.
The ‘Slim Reaper’ did not hesitate to reply and went on to win the game for the Nets in front of the Hawks crowd.

Brooklyn Nets now face Detroit Pistons on the road next as they look forward to retaining their spot at the top of the table. The Nets have an impeccable away record this season so far with a 10-3 record. So, with Durant in top form, they have a good chance of winning their 19th against the Pistons.
