Shaquille O’Neal has a hilarious personality. His off-the-court antics inspired him to start his own segment of absurd and bizarre plays from the basketball court that will make any spectator clinch their stomach in laughter. Therefore, evidently, O’Neal has built his television persona around the jokes and banter moments he has off the court. Even his celebrity friends know when Shaq is messing around with them. One absolutely hilarious incident happened with him and David Beckham.
A few years ago, Shaquille O’Neal appeared on James Corden’s show with Victoria Beckham. Subsequently, he revealed a bizarre story from a time he was taking a walk in Beverly Hills. What was special about that walk was that he found David Beckham’s wallet on that walk. What happened next is certainly a ‘Shaq being Shaq’ moment.

When Shaquille O’Neal found David Beckham’s wallet in Beverly Hills
On the Late Night Show with James Corden, Shaq joked about what he does usually when he finds an unclaimed wallet. He said, “I was walking one day in Beverly Hills and I found a wallet. Usually, when I find wallets, I just take out all the cash and throw them. But this was a nice wallet, so I looked. It said David Beckham, I was like ‘Can’t be!’ and I looked at the ID and it was David Beckham.” Shaq was in shock that it was David Beckham’s wallet. However, he did not return it and rather chose to try to prank the English National Football legend for it.
So before giving him back his (empty) wallet, Shaq called David and spoke in a deeper voice to make it seem like its someone else. He tried to prank him and said, “I have your wallet. It’s going to cost you a million dollars getting it back.”. However, David Beckham did not fall for it for one second and asked him to stop playing.
