Shaquille O’Neal was one of the best players of his generation. He has been credited with revolutionizing the role of a center in the NBA. Apart from being an athlete, the four-time NBA Champion is also a successful businessman and is blessed with a big family.
Shaq has four children with Shaunie O’Neal – Shareef, Amirah, Shaqir, and Me’arah. He married Shaunie back in 2002 after winning his three peat as a Laker with Kobe Bryant. Unfortunately, the couple filed for a divorce because of some differences, which took place after nine years in 2011.

However, Shaq still maintains a close relationship with his family and his kids. His two sons, Shareef O’Neal and Shaqir O’Neal are also into basketball. Shareef is a college basketball player and plays for the LSU Tigers. Shaqir currently plays for Texas Southern and has a close relationship with his father Shaq.
However, Shaq is forced to have a limited relationship with Shaqir, but he enjoys every moment he spends with him.

TNT recently released the 4th episode of ‘Shaq Life’ Season 2. In the fourth episode, Shaq is seen training his son for a career in basketball. Towards the end of the episode, Shaq opens up in his relationship with Shaqir.
“The time we spend together is on the basketball court and Shaqir and me, so I could turn up the volume on them,” Shaq said.
“You know, as far as us, like creating a bond, a really close glide. It only happened on the basketball court.”

Shaqir had announced his commitment to Texas Southern last year. Texas Southern currently competes in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Their head coach is Johnny Jones, who used to be the assistant coach to Dale Brown. Interestingly, Brown was the coach of LSU Tigers when Shaquille O’Neal used to play for them.
