Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greats of the game and dominated the NBA in the early 2000s. He helped the Lakers win the historic three-peat during the early 2000s. He won his fourth NBA championship with Miami Heat in 2006. Shaq has been very successful on the court and off the court as well after his retirement.
Many top athletes have their own documentaries or docuseries of their name. Basketball’s most famous documentary miniseries ‘The Last Dance’, revolved around Michael Jordan and his last season with Chicago Bulls. Shaquille O’Neal has also revealed that he is working on his documentary. Shaq has previously appeared in ESPN’s 2005 TV series named ‘Shaquille’. He has also hosted a reality show ‘Shaq’s Big Challenge’ on ABC network.

Shaquille O’Neal has revealed that he is working on his documentary
During the recent episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, Jimmy Kimmel asked Shaq if he is planning on making a documentary about his career. Shaq said that he is working on the documentary with Peter Berg.
When asked if he’s planning a documentary in the future, Shaq replied: “I’m actually working on it now. I’m shooting a documentary with the great Peter Berg. It’s a four-part series.”
Jimmy Kimmel was surprised to hear about Peter Berg. Kimmel then asked Shaq if he’s giving Peter Berg ‘full access’ to everything he has shot over the years.

To this Shaq nodded and replied: “Full access, never seen before footage.”
Shaquille O’Neal is working with ‘Hancock’ director Peter Berg for his four-part documentary series. Peter Berg has directed several blockbuster movies, such as Friday Night Lights, The Kingdom, Hancock, Battleship, Deepwater Horizon among others.

Shaquille O’Neal has previously featured on ESPN’s 2005 series called ‘Shaquille’. The show had six episodes and showed Shaq’s on-court and off-court life. He was with Miami Heat at that time. He has also hosted ‘Shaq’s Big Challenge’ on the ABC network. In this reality show, Shaq and his team of health experts helped obese kids lose weight and build a healthy lifestyle for the future. Most recently, Shaq appeared in ‘Shaq Life‘ reality TV show, which gave the viewers access to Shaq’s entertainment dealings and summer break business deals.
