Los Angeles Lakers have been disappointing this season and sit 9th in the Western Conference table. The Lakers spent the off-season trying to buy quality players to win a championship. However, that hasn’t worked out well for them so far and they are currently in the trade market for a 22-year-old Knicks star to bolster their attack.

The Lakers recently registered their 30th loss of the season against a struggling Portland side. They are currently on a 26-30 record with a winning% of .464. Despite having LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook at their helm, they haven’t managed to cross the .500 mark for the majority of the season.

However, the Lakers are on the course of another roster revamp as they’re planning to make some moves before the trade deadline on Thursday. According to a recent report, the Lakers might engage in a three-team trade deal involving New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors.

Los Angeles Lakers reportedly in discussions with Knicks and Raptors for a potential 3-team trade

According to Michael Scotto, the Lakers, Knicks, and Raptors are in discussions about a potential 3-team trade. The Lakers could get the 22-year-old Knicks star Cam Reddish and Alex Burks in the three-team trade.

The Knicks could get Goran Dragic alongside draft picks. The Raptors, on the other side, could get Talen Horton-Tucker and Nerlens Noel. It has also been reported that the Lakers might include Kendrick Nunn in the deal as well.

The Lakers have reportedly been planning to trade Talen Horton-Tucker, who hasn’t fit into Vogel’s plans. While the reported three-team trade might be a good deal for the Lakers, it will not solve their ongoing problems on the court.

However, the Lakers could get a young star in Cam Reddish, who joined the Knicks earlier this month from Atlanta Hawks. The 22-year-old forward has played a total of 39 games this season, 34 for the Hawks and 5 for the Knicks. He has been averaging 10.9 points per game, which is better than his career average.
