Rockets fans have looked for the next James Harden ever since that day in January when he forced a trade out from Houston. While his exit might have been ugly, it gave the Houston Rockets enough assets to start a rebuilding process in full swing. However, none of the players involved in the Harden trade are associated with Houston now. Consequently, the fall in the Western Conference table got them Jalen Green in the next NBA draft.

However, they also traded for the rights to Alperen Sengun on the draft night with Oklahoma City Thunder. It is the same team which originally drafted James Harden as well.
