The “Damian Lillard is washed” narrative has started to trend after a series of unimpressive performances from Portland’s All-Star. Most recently, his team even faced a blowout loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on New Year’s Eve. And in this final game of the calendar year, LeBron James led his team with a spectacular performance to triumph over the struggling Trail Blazers.

During the game, LeBron James even mocked Damian Lillard’s celebration after slamming a dunk on his unstoppable drive. He brought out the classic Dame Time celebration with a twist of his own. This surely was a statement of celebration, at least for the fans who could not believe LeBron James is 37 years old.

After the end of last season, a lot of NBA experts raised questions about Lillard’s plans for his future. Especially Stephen A.
