When legends retire, they only end their NBA career, their love for basketball remains eternal, it never fades. When the late Kobe Bryant retired, he used his time to enlighten aspiring kids to learn more about basketball through his academy.

Likewise, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade might have hung up his shoes, but that won’t stop him from playing the game he loves. 

D-Wade and his son Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade recently hit the court to practice some shots and the 3X NBA champion hasn’t lost his grace at all.

Zaire posted clips of him working out with his dad on Instagram. Most importantly, we got to see D-Wade sinking buckets with his elegance. 

Moreover, D-Wade was rocking his Kobe Bryant inspired Way of Wade sneakers that just looked stunning. “Every time we step on the court you know who it’s for,” Zaire said in the video as he slowly panned up to show us the beautiful pair of sneakers and his father. 

In the series of videos posted by Zaire on his IG handle, we could see Dwyane Wade nail his three-point shots from the left-wing behind the arc.

Furthermore, he showcased his sublime one-legged jumper, which was also wonderfully replicated by his son Zaire. Safe to say that the 18-year-old prospect is training under a good pair of hands!

Dwyane Wade and his beautiful tribute to Kobe Bryant

D-Wade and Kobe Bryant were like brothers. The mamba had made several thick friends over the course of his glorious career. And D-Wade was the closest of them.

Upon the passing of his dear friend, Wade decided to honor him by releasing a truly amazing line of signature sneakers from his Way of Wade collection.

The sneakers come in three different colorways, all pertaining to the Lakers’ bright color scheme. The colorways are dominated by purple being the primary color, mixed with gold, white, and violet to form three stunning pairs of sneakers.

The shoes have both of Kobe’s iconic jersey numbers on the tongue, which stands out in the entire design. Moreover, the insoles contain an inspiring message that reads: “Great things come from hard work and perseverance. No excuses.”
