San Francisco 49ers recently knocked out Green Bay Packers from the NFL Divisional Round by beating them 13-10. It was an incredible comeback from the Niners, who came back from being 7-3 down till the 3rd quarter to win 13-10. NBA legend Charles Barkley picked the Packers to win the game, but that couldn’t happen and he later fired shots at Aaron Rodgers.

Niners star Robbie Gould made an incredible 45-yard goal against the Packers as the clock ended. The Niners knocked the top-seeded Packers out in the Divisional Round due to a 13-10 loss. The Niners were behind the Packers throughout the game. However, they launched an incredible comeback in the final quarter and scored 10 unanswered points in the last 5 mins of the game.

By winning, the Niners qualified for the conference championship for the 17th time, the most by any team since the merger. A Packers loss meant that Aaron Rodgers’ tenure at the Wisconsin-based franchise is possibly over. Former NBA star Charles Barkley had picked the Packers to win over the Niners. But the Niners’ defense surprised Barkley, and he fired shots at Aaron Rodgers.

Charles Barkley fires shots at Packers star Aaron Rodgers

Former NBA star Charles Barkley recently appeared on ‘The Steam Room‘ podcast. During the podcast, he talked about the Niners’ defense and Packers star Aaron Rodgers.

“San Francisco, their defense is great. My boy Aaron Rodgers, you got to put more than three points on the board,” Barkley said.

Packers star Rodgers ended the game with a 20/29 for 225 yards and lost four playoff starts to the Niners. Rodgers’ future is uncertain as the off-season starts for the Packers. The 38-year-old quarterback had earlier admitted that he is uncertain of his future with the Packers. However, he later added that he has kept his options open.

“I don’t think it’s fair to anybody or myself to really go down those paths at this point,” Aaron Rodgers said. “It’s disappointing, sad and fresh. I’ll have conversations in the next week or so and start to contemplate after that.”
