The 33-year-old center, DeAndre Jordan, played for Los Angeles Clippers for 10 years. However, in the past three years, he has featured for three different NBA sides. He most recently played for Brooklyn Nets, but with two years remaining on his contract, they traded him to Detroit Pistons for Sekou Doumbouya and Jahlil Okafor. However, Jordan plans to sign with Los Angeles Lakers if he clears waivers.

After spending 10 seasons with the Clippers, Jordan signed a one-year deal with Dallas Mavericks, who then traded him to the Knicks mid-season in 2019. He then signed a four-year deal with Brooklyn Nets and spent the majority of his first season at the bench. But he came back stronger and started 43 games last season.

In a recent episode of ‘Skip and Shannon: UNDISPUTED‘, three-time Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe talked about DeAndre Jordan’s intention to join the Lakers. Shannon said that DeAndre Jordan will be a ‘good addition’ and will be an upgrade to Marc Gasol.

“I think he’ll (DeAndre Jordan) be a good addition,” Shannon said.

“I believe he can bring what JaVale brought. The guy that can run the floor rebound and defends the paint. Look, you don’t have to run plays for him. Gasol’s about to be 37 in January, he just can’t move anymore, it’s as simple as that.

“DeAndre Jordan, you don’t have to run any plays for him. He already knows: run the court, run to the front of the rim, catch lobs, get rebound, put back dunks, defend the paint and I think he’ll be good with that.”
