Dallas Mavericks are currently 27-10 in the league and sit 5th in the Western Conference table. Huge credit goes to their head coach Jason Kidd, who took the job of the Mavs team last summer. Kidd has had a wonderful playing career as well, as he played against some of the league’s all-time best players such as Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal among others.
Jason Kidd spent the majority of his career with the Mavericks and faced some of the league’s greats. Kidd played around the same timeline as Kobe Bryant, who spent 20 seasons in the league. However, despite not playing with each other throughout their career, they were friends and had a good relationship.

Jason Kidd opens up on his favorite Kobe Bryant memory
Mavs head coach Jason Kidd was asked about some of his favorite memories of Kobe Bryant. To this, Kidd revealed an incident of him and Kobe going golfing.
“Favorite moment with Kobe? The Olympic team, there’s a lot of stories. We’d be here too long,” Kidd said.
“There’s a lot of stories that would be here too long. But there was a point where we all went golfing or to a driving range. We actually found something that Kobe wasn’t very good at. So he didn’t know if he was right hand or left hand. But that would be Kobe that he would say if he had time to work on it that he could do either way right or left. So that was something that I’ll never forget.”
