Los Angeles Lakers will face the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow. After the embarrassing defeat to Oklahoma City Thunder, the Purple and Gold’s fans are now worried about Damian Lillard. With the sharpshooter facing a shooting slump, fans are concerned that his slump will finally come to an end in the game against the Lakers.

Compared to his entire career, he seems to have had the worst start to a season. He is currently averaging 17.8 points per game. In the last game against the Pacers, he struggled from beyond the 3-point line. As a sharpshooter, him shooting 0 for 6 from beyond the arc surely shows a slump for Lillard.

Nevertheless, we all know how Lillard is like a Phoenix who will rise from the ashes. He has not averaged below 25 points at the end of a season since 2015.

And ever since 2015, when LaMarcus Aldridge left the franchise, Lillard has been the franchise player and team leader on the floor.
