The Brooklyn Nets saw several roadblocks ahead of the NBA’s restart. However, the team signed veteran Jamal Crawford to chip in for the remainder of the season.

The rest of the season will certainly be a challenging one for the Nets, who are currently sitting in a dangerous seventh position in the eastern conference.

Crawford has only been in the Nets’ camp for a few weeks, but he has already found talented players who amaze him.

Jamal Crawford recently joined Howard Beck’s ‘The Full 48’ podcast, where he got into discussions about his current experience as a Nets player, his future, and then the Orlando bubble, of course.

Being an NBA veteran, Crawford would have a lot to share with his fellow Nets players. In fact, he even revealed the advice he gave to the team’s youngsters.  “You have two ears and one mouth so you have to listen twice as much as you talk.”

Moreover, besides this brilliant piece of advice, Crawford lauded one of his colleagues for their impeccable talent.

Crawford compares Brooklyn Nets teammate to a swiss army knife

Crawford has high praise for Nets swingman Caris LeVert. The 25-year-old LeVert has been with the Brooklyn Nets ever since his entry into the league in 2016.

LeVert was in tremendous form this season, and just before the season’s suspension, he posted 51-points against the Celtics, a career-high for the Ohio native.

“He’s a little bit of everything, like a Swiss Army Knife,” Crawford said, talking about LeVert. “But he can really really score. He can really pass. He has a great feel for the game.

“I see him … he has a little bit of Penny Hardaway in his game. I think he has Joe Johnson in his game as well. Those are two players that jump out to me.”

Getting compared to a legendary baller like Penny Hardaway is seriously a great compliment for LeVert. The 6’6” star has a really explosive game and seems to be a great force when driving into the paint to score buckets.

Furthermore, Crawford sent a warning to his opponents to not underestimate LeVert by his first impression.

“He’s bigger than you think he is. He has more size that you think he does. He can do everything on the court,” Crawford said, as per Nets Daily.

“And he’s so humble. He has such humility about him. He’s always asking questions. He’s always working on his game. He’s always trying to get better. Guys like that are driven. He’ll be a star, no doubt about it.”
