Los Angeles Lakers are finally back to winning ways as they got the better of the Houston Rockets at home. The Lakers lead the Rockets in the first half and had a significant lead of 19 points. The Rockets staged a late comeback in the final quarter but it wasn’t enough to stop their fifth defeat of the season.

Carmelo Anthony was the star of the game as he lead the scoring charts despite starting the game from the bench. Carmelo scored 23 points in 25 mins and registered 3 rebounds against the Rockets at the Staples Center. The Lakers’ roster is full of future Hall of Famers, but it’s Carmelo who shone brightest against the Rockets.
