Los Angeles Lakers recorded their 30th loss of the season as a struggling Blazers side beat them by 2 points. The Lakers traveled to Moda Center in search of their 27th win of the season. However, they lost 107-105 despite brave efforts from LeBron James and Talen Horton-Tucker. James was frustrated after the loss and indicated another Lakers’ overhaul during his post-game comments.
King James scored a game-high 30 points vs Portland Trail Blazers, but it wasn’t enough to stop a 2nd half comeback from the Portland-based side. James also recorded 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in the game. While the starters failed to make a mark, Stanley Johnson and Talen Horton-Tucker stepped up off the bench with 11 and 14 points, respectively.
James was frustrated after the team’s 2nd straight loss and admitted that get was ‘tired’. He also made an interesting comment on the trade deadline on Thursday.

LeBron James indicates another Lakers overhaul
James appeared before the media for the post-game interview after the team’s 2-point loss against the Blazers. With the trade deadline looming, LeBron made a cryptic comment on the Lakers’ situation.
“Obviously, this is something that’s weighing on this group that we’re all trying to get through. Almost feels like it’s a fog, just fog in the air. And we’re all trying to see what’s on the other side of it,” LeBron James said.

Despite the team’s loss against the Blazers, the trade deadline was the topic of interest among the journalists during the post-game interview. However, James came up with a cryptic response to the same. While it’s not particularly his department to oversee trades and roster, his response doesn’t answer any Lakers’ trade speculations.

Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly in discussions with several teams for a potential trade for a quality player before the deadline. However, they already have one of the strongest rosters in the NBA and a few signings can not be their solution for this season. LeBron is 37 and the Lakers need to provide him with the best possible help if they want to win a championship with him.
